My mom had reached the point of needing to move near us in Chicagoland. My mom is 84 and experiencing some memory issues which complicated the sale — she lived in the house for more than 20 years. Deb gave me an accurate and honest assessment of the property and told me where we should list it for sale — and it was a little lower than I hoped. But, I trusted her advice and when it went live we had 14 showings the next day and six offers by the next. We reviewed offers the following day, picked the best one which was $10k over asking and it closed today. The part of that story that isn’t obvious is that Deb also did my mom’s laundry (voluntarily), arranged for some clean up and made the transition a lot easier for my mom by being so understanding. Plus, she’s a dog person which really won my mom over. Needless to say, I strongly recommend Deb. She’s not only a good Realtor, she’s a good person. In the end, that’s what matters most.

✔️ Eric was great to work with. This was our first time buying a home and had only had a few interactions with realtors up til this point. And immediately upon talking to him I knew he was the realtor I wanted to work with. He has a very calm and comfortable feeling about him, and not inflated, hurried, busy, or stressed. He really was excellent at hearing our needs, wants, and thoughts. And being our first rodeo, he was very patient and worked hard at taking the time to explain things to me and answer all my questions/concerns. He went out of his way to do many things, including going outside his normal area for the listings we liked, helping find and schedule professionals for inspections and repairs when I couldn't find any, he even took the time to make sure we were able to get food when doing full day's worth of viewings. And he recommended places to shop and eat in the area, since I flew to Missouri from Alaska to do viewings. He helped us keep our expectations in realistic view. He kept me on task with good notice and heads ups for all paperwork and tasks. He was always available to respond even on his vacation. I always felt comfortable working with him as he was professional and respectable at all times. But he also was friendly and not stiff or overly hyped emotions with interactions. Cynthia was very responsive to our needs and gave us many options to look at and spent as much time as we needed. When we found the house that was the right size, in our budget and in the condition we were looking for, Cynthia was very helpful in the negotiation phase and the closing. She recommended service people to do inspections and even met one at the house when we were coming from out of town that day and couldn't be there when the contractor was available.
